A continuation to Just a little something... and Another little something...:
Her focus was disrupted when The Nutcracker, Rock Ver. rang shrilly from the tiny silver device - her Nokia phone.I'm writing this to Vent. Vent. Vent. Yes, having a new phone is not all smiles and joy. The transferring of contact numbers, music etc. is draining, and frustrating! *about ready to tear off her hair*
Letting out a breath of annoyance, she used one hand to turn down the classical dance music, the other she used to cut off the loud whining.
"Hello? Emily speaking."
"My dear girl! Where were you? Do you know what time it is?" Before she could answer, the speaker - her mother - continued, "Nevermind. I'll come fetch you."
"Mum, don't-" Emily let out a frustrated sound as her mother hang up. Seriously! How is she going to fetch me if she don't know where I am?
Heaving yet another gusty sigh, she sent a message of her whereabouts to her workaholic mother, all the while tidying up the studio and locking the oak doors.
I'm at the Ballet Studio. -E.
Silently fume-sulking in a corner,
LF
